Plating Code for Contacts

The different plating codes (A, B, C, J) represent the amount of gold plating on the contacts. The more gold plating on the contacts the harsher the environment they will withstand and the more insertion and withdrawals they will accept (mating of male and female connectors). With more gold plating, contacts will have less resistance build up over time and thus will be more reliable over your products life span.

(X) represents connectors that do not have any signal contacts this gives you the option to order connectors like a 3W3, 5W5, 8W8, 2W2c and 3W3C without any contacts loaded.

If you want the above connectors with power, or coaxial contacts insert the plating code you require for those contacts (A, B, C or J)
