The dimensions of the CONEC I/O Connectors and D-SUB connectors correspond to DIN 41652 and MIL-C-24308. This connector is used in different branches of industry, such as the telecommunications, computer engineering, medicine and aviation sectors. The trapezoidal metal housing of a CONEC SUB-D Adapter provides mechanical protection, electrical shielding and ensures a secure connection. CONEC predominantly uses turned precision contacts for all D-SUB Connectors, which ensure a high degree of connection security. Various assemblies are available in angled and straight solder versions.

The combination D-SUB connectors can be used in a wide variety of applications. Different combinations are possible within the standard metal housings with signal, high current, high voltage or coaxial contacts. All common contact layouts and connection types are available. The advantage of this D-Subminiature connector is that they provide a cost-saving solution and save space on the rear side of the device. In principle, the SUB-D connectors are supplied with signal contacts up to the crimp version. The high current, high voltage and coaxial contacts can be ordered separately or they can be assembled immediately in the factory.
CONEC offers an extensive range of housings for different areas of application or requirements. This ranges from plastic, metallised plastic, plastic with integrated shielding plate and up to a full metal construction. Special housings are available for combination D-SUB connectors, which have a large interior space for coaxial or high power contacts and can also be combined with a broad range of applicable accessories of the Conec programm for shielding, sealing and securing of connections and interfaces.
The waterproof D-SUB Connectors developed by CONEC according to IP67, are particularly suitable for applications where dust and splashwater can impair the device‘s functionality. The Standard, High Density and Combination D-SUB connectors are integrated and sealed in a metal frame. The one piece body – made of zinc diecast – provides outstanding mechanical robustness. These IP67 Connectors guarantee protection against splash water and dust under aggressive conditions
Almost all connections, such as hand solder, straight solder and angled solder can be realised as C, LC and Pi filters. D-SUB filter connectors with high power contacts are available as male and female connectors in layouts 2W2 – 3W3 – 5W5 and 8W8. High power contacts that can be used between 10A and 40A, even with a large cable diameter, mean no stress on the filter, as the filter elements are mechanically unloaded by the contacts. The available number of pins are: from 9 to 50 for the D-SUB Standard and from 15 to 62 for High Density. A large selection of capacitance values are available as standard, depending on the requirement specifications. Special capacitance values or even mixed capacitance values can be realised within the connector.
The CONEC RJ45 Magnetic Modular Jack offers ideal protection from electromagnetic interference and common-mode noise in Industrial Ethernet applications. The advantages lies in the fact that susceptibility to interference is reduced and space is saved on the printed circuit board through the integration of the components. The requirements of signal transmission are specified in the IEEE 802.3 Standard. The RJ45 Connector-series is available in single and multi ports (2-4-6-8) as solder and SMT fixtures.
For structured, industrial cabling in acc. to Realtime EtherNet/IP specifications CONEC developed the RJ45 connector with bayonet coupling mechanism conforming to IEC 61076-3-106 standards. The CONEC USB Connector system series for harsh environments can be used for front or rear mounting into a panel with a thickness up to 3.2mm. The integrated USB connector meets USB 2.0 specifications. The connector system provides IP67 sealing performance when the connector halves are fully mated or the protection cap is applicated.
