A corresponding key for the hexagon socket screws are supplied along with each connector.

The versions of field-attachable connectors are available as plug- and socket with 3- or 4- poles. Additional to the straight version CONEC also offers a 90° angled version. The housings accept standard cables with 4 to 5,5mm diameter. The current carrying capacity of every contact is 4A with all contacts under load and 40°C ambient temperature condition.

The operating temperature range is from -30°C to 85°C. The coupling rings are hexagonal shaped (SW13) and if necessary, a corresponding torque wrench is available from CONEC. The connectors are IP67 protected when fully mated.

During the Economic Forum organised by the Volksbank, this prize was awarded to a regional innovative company for their ideas, commitment and sustainability.

CONEC develops and produces high quality connectors for the automation industry, mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, medical engineering, energy technology as well as the aerospace industry. Especially in filter technology (filtering out interfering signals) as well as in waterproof connectors the company counts amongst the leading suppliers and operates on an international level due to its marketing organisation.

We can indeed be very proud of receiving this prize as it shows that our great initiative and actions are not only highly appreciated and renowned in the market, but also in particular at our own production site.

Commitment and sustainability – stand for 34 years of CONEC at the production site in Lippstadt and a continuously growing number of employees here in Lippstadt and also worldwide with currently approximately 480 staff members.

Ideas and innovation – currently stands for more than 50,000 of our products used in all economics sectors and in all industrial countries of significance in the world.

However, first of all, this prize belongs to our highly motivated, innovative staff members according to Raimund Carl, managing director, who manages the company together with Dolphy Schwarz and Klaus Diehm.

We are very happy about this award and according to Carl this will be an additional incentive for us to continue using our knowledge and know-how in a committed way in innovative and future-oriented ideas and products.

The M12×1 X-coded connectors have been developed for such applications. These components are designed for transmission technology accordingto CAT6A and 500 MHz/10 Gigabit, and are standardised to IEC 61076-2-109. These X-code connectors have 4 shielded pairs, for reliable high speed data transfer, and industrial grade materials for harsh environments, all in the small M12 connector. The current product range includes patch cables in the standard lengths of 1, 2, 5 and 10 m as well as a female socket with pc tails for panel mounting.

The new Mini USB 2.0 Type B watertight connectors are integrated into a black plastic housing with a bayonet locking feature for harsh environmental applications. The „quick-connect“ bayonet locking mechanism provides an audible and noticeable feedback to ensure the user that an IP67 watertight connection is made. No further mounting tool is required to make this simple, fast and robust connection. The product line includes a panel receptacle which may be PCB-mounted or used with a flex circuit.

The overall dimensions are compact and require only a 12mm diameter panel cutout. The pre-terminated patch cables with an overmolded IP67 Mini USB Type B plug and an overmolded USB Type A plug are available in 2, 3 and 5m length. Protective covers are available to keep IP67 protection when not in use.

Custom solutions are available upon request, please contact the factory. The Mini USB connectors ensure a watertight, securely sealed connection to be operated in harsh environments.

An extensive range of sockets of various sizes, configurations and connection types is at your disposal. Choose from the sizes M12×1, M8×1, 7/8“. Sockets with wire, dip-solder as well as with overmoulded cable in front or backmounting with PG9 or M16×1,5 thread. PCB versions axial and angled as well as contact carrier for SMT-processing complete the programm.

We now offer a female socket M12×1 with LED display. This socket is available in a 3-pole version, frontmounting with wire and M16×1,5 thread.
