Here are the most frequent questions about our web site:
1. I need to print a drawing from the web site. How I can do it?
2. I need to send a drawing from the website by the e-mail. What should I do?
3. I can't find a part number with the search engine. What can I do?
I need to print a drawing from the web site. How I can do it?
If you want to print a small drawing from the Internet Explorer please right-click on the drawing and select a menu item "Print Picture". If you want to print a big drawing, it's possible that you'll need to save it on the local drive and print it from an image-editing program (for example the Microsoft Paint or the Microsoft Photo Editor ). To save a drawing on the hard drive right-click the drawing and select a menu item "Save Picture As" (in the Netscape Navigator this item is called "Save Image As"). Indicate a place on the local disk where you want to save it.
I need to send a drawing from the website by the e-mail. What should I do?
To e-mail a drawing from the Internet Explorer right-click on the drawing and select the menu item "E-mail Picture" (In the Netscape Navigator please select the menu item "Send Image"). Your default mail program will be loaded and the drawing will be added as an attachment to the new e-mail message.
I can't find a part number with the website search engine. What can I do?
1. Please note that we use the dash in some of our part numbers as a delimiter. Our search engine is sensitive to the symbol "dash". That means that the symbol "-" should be entered in the proper place of the part number to be sure that the part will be found by the search engine. If you are not sure about the position of the dash in part number just try to search using only the ending of the part number (you will get a list of items matching your current search entry). At the same time the search engine is not sensitive to the space symbol (" ") - you shouldn't worry about the spaces in the part number.
2. If you can’t find a part number for a product with plating codes “B”, “C”, “D” or ”J”, try to find the same product with the plating code “A”.
Here is an example:
Instead of part numbers:
242 B 27380 X
242 C 27380 X
242 D 27380 X
242 J 27380 X
try to find a part number: 242 A 27380 X
3. For Conec products that cannot be found using the search feature please refer back to the product pages on the order code page. Due to the large variety of some of the products such as:
Combination D-Sub connectors
Filtered Combination D-Sub connectors
Water resistant D-Sub connectors
Filtered RJ45 modular jacks
Refer to the "How to create a part number" on the product page.
If you have difficulties using these instructions please contact your nearest
